We are a community with the name ‘Home’ but it’s a word, an idea, a concept, that we’ve never really explored. What do we mean by that word? What is home? Where does our sense of home come from? If we feel far from home, lost or alienated, or in exile in some way, how do we begin to find our way back there???
These are some of the questions we will be exploring in this cycle – our last cycle before our summer ‘recess’. Matt (R) will kick things off with some reflections in gathering #1 and later in the cycle, one of our favourite guest speakers Beau Stevenson will be joining us again to give us his take on the theme. Elsewhere you will find the usual cycle components – discussion, all-age, meditative, open-source.
Supplementing the Sunday gatherings will be three HUB sessions on the theme which will draw from Henri Nouwen’s seminal book ‘The Return of the Prodigal Son’.
